  1. I have MS and am curious, are there any drugs that are proven to be effective in remylenation?

    1. Thanks for your question Riun. While there are drugs available for the remylation process, we at NeedyMeds are not qualified to advise on which would be most effective for a patient’s treatment. We recommend consulting with your doctor, or the National MS society, for the most accurate information regarding treatment.

    1. Thanks for reaching out Susan. There are a number of programs available for Herceptin. First, there are four PAPs that you can find here – http://www.needymeds.org/brand-drug/name/Herceptin – we recommend reaching out to all four.

Additionally there is a co-pay program for Herceptin you can find here – https://www.copayassistancenow.com/#/herceptin/copay-card – that will help lower the insurance co-payment for this medication.

We also have a Breast Cancer resource page here – http://www.needymeds.org/drp.taf?filename=breast-cancer.htm – it has information on programs for a number of drugs for Breast Cancer, as well as national programs that can help.

Lastly, we have a list of Diagnosis Based Assistance Programs for breast Cancer. Some of these are nationwide, while others are state specific. Their services range from medication coverage to travel expenses, tests, supplies etc. http://www.needymeds.org/copay_diseases.taf?_function=summary&disease_id=48&disease_eng=Breast%20Cancer&dx=20&drp=breast-cancer
